An RV is self-contained, so all that needs to be done is to stock it with food, dishes, and bed linens, and you’re good to go!

RVs also offer more amenities versus tents. With a tent, you often need to find a way to rig up a shower, if the grounds at which you’re staying don’t offer them. Many RVs, particularly larger models, have some form of shower and bathroom facility built-in, making them a much better option for those who are a bit squeamish about showering outside, or using public facilities.

Though tent camping can be a lot of fun, recreational vehicles have a lot of things going for them that tents simply can’t hope to match. If you or a loved one would like to go camping, but don’t want to deal with the heat, mosquitoes, or sleeping on the hard ground, RV parks might be just the ticket for you.
